Since when does anyone regard Mayday Parade as "punk"?

May I answer that question with another: How are ANY bands on this album punk? I mean Asking Alexandria, Falling In Reverse? The "Punk" part is just a name. It should be changed to "Scene Goes..." But that doesn't have the alliteration "Punk Goes Pop" does.

why the fuck does everyone bother making articles on shit that has already documented in the same punk goes 90s article
|
| |
This is nowhere near as bad as the other two released so far, but that's not saying much.
|
| |
Yeah this isn't bad but obviously I prefer Gavin's grungey vocals
|
| |
It's exactly the pop-punk kind of gay vocals that makes it impossible to tell all these bands apart.
Too bad, I gave this a listen even though Comedown is one of my least favorite Bush singles, and it's pretty okay otherwise.

Mayday Parade has very distinct vocals for the genre. You obviously don't know shit.
|
| |
Maybe so, I don't know the band. The chorus in particular sounds exactly like the stereotypical pop-punker.
|
| |
I was just messin with you man. At times the band definitely can tred generic waters. But for those more familiar with the band, if you were to throw them in a pop-punk playlist and hit shuffle, you would be able to tell them a part from the rest.
|
| |
Yeah he has a distinctive little flair to his voice which is actually pretty recognizable
|
| |
punk goes anything generally sucks..
|
| |
As covers go it ain't bad, but there's nothing absolutely nothing punk about it full stop.
