His low screams sound like shit.
Digging: Bleachers - Strange Desire
all these songs they've released have just turned me off checking this album
Digging: The Contortionist - Exoplanet
This is bad like really really 1/5 bad
Digging: Islander - Violence and Destruction
Yeah this is the worst one they've released so far.
not even close to 1/5 level bad but mehhh..I'll still listen to the full album though for some reason i can't explain.
Digging: Kashiwa Daisuke - April. #02
It was bad, but it wasn't that bad. The kinda southern-fried chaos sound they're going for on this track is not working out though. You need a good vocalist for that. Fuck you Owens.
The sudden transitions into the chorus are so awful. This song just doesn't make any sense. It's all over the place. Seems way forced just like the band's current lineup. I don't think they even want to be together and they don't seem to be on the same page anymore.
This is unbelievable levels of bad. They didn't even try to transition from one segment to another
This is so terrible. Where is Thomas Erak's flair in this, by the way? Nowhere apparently.
Digging: Thantifaxath - Sacred White Noise
if thomas erak refuses to show his technical chops on this album then I don't think this album is even worth checking out
so far after like half the album's been released this appears to be the case
Digging: Trophy Scars - Never Born, Never Dead
What is it with awful hardcore bands always doing these lame lyric videos?
The flow on those cleans is so forced. The cleans don't even sound good anyway.
Digging: Pet Slimmers of The Year - Fragments Of Uniforms
Digging: The Antikythera Mechanism - Pathos
Hard to believe this is the best they could come up with Thomas on board. Generic at best. Not excited for this album especially this being their 5th one released.
I rank this one in the middle. Ole Fishlips and 3 AM were great, why the munsters matter was pretty bad (the whole song just seemed forced and repetitive) and this + duct tape were just kinda...eh.
I'm not really excited about this album anymore
Digging: 68 - In Humor and Sadness
Man, I'm steadily getting less and less interested
Digging: How to Dress Well - What Is This Heart?
I liked it... fuck
More power to you man, I wanted to like this album
bring back the guy that isn't craig plz
Digging: Nadja - Radiance of Shadows
everything they've got is wasted on that chorus
Less annoying than the other ones
Damn this is terrible. ALL of these songs are terrible. I feel like I got in a time machine and went back to 2007
Digging: Real Estate - Atlas
Except in 2007 they were still better than this. Bone Palace Ballet wasn't amazing, but it never sunk to this level of awful.
bring back the guy that isn't craig plz
Digging: Jason Lancaster - As You Are
I was talking more about the style of the songs, rather than the quality. It just reminds me of high school
man.... AWTEW will be the only cool album this band will ever accomplish.
Digging: Monuments - The Amanuensis
I remember that one time they released Illuminaudio
Illuminaudio was awesome. Y u du dis chiodos?
I liked Alls Well, but this sucks
Digging: Culture Club - Kissing to Be Clever
what happened? Illuminaudio was a well-crafted, polished, emotionally grandiose album.
This is just shit.
They played a new song at warped and it was pretty cool, a lot better than most of these new ones. I wish thermacare was gonna be on this album though...
Craig Owens happened
Blaming Craig for this is kinda retarded. Seeing as Craig was still in the band when they were working on Illuminaudio. The song that would become Stratovolcano Mouth leaked before he got kicked out, and he was singing on that. Granted it wasn't as polished as Strato, but at that point it was just a demo anyway.
Don't get me wrong, this sounds mediocre at best, and disgusting at its worst. But it is fucking stupid to blame one dude for the direction the band is taking.
And you people should direct your hate to the other bandmembers as well. They're all dickheads, considering how they ended up dumping Brandon by the wayside.
This song is growing on me I have to say, the chorus is nice and catchy. My only concern is that the lead guitar is really low in the mix. Thomas Erak is doing some interesting stuff in there and it really needs to come out.
