Decidia Debut Single 2014-02-12 by ASnideReturns | 8 Comments | Deathcore band Decidia (Formerly known as "Design the Skyline") have released their debut track. Only two members from the original group remain (Eric Azure and Matt Ryan) and it is unclear whether they will still be on Victory Records. The song is titled "Stargaze."

| | | The spoken word sections are crazy corny, the cleans are kind of whiny, though an improvement on previous recordings, the harsh vocals sound strong but incredibly underused, and the song feels kind of directionless overall. It plods rather than builds and then fades out. Granted, it one song, and further output might prove me wrong, but it sounds like there's still a lot of room to grow
| | | kind of ironic they're called decidia but they changed their name
| | | So this is the same band as Design the Skyline then and not a separate entity? Did mention this on the review page for Nevaeh but never got anything back. Wonder what this means for Sleepless In December.
| | | Yeah I know SID is separate but was just wondering what this meant for that band seeing as Matt's the frontman for them.
| | | Also I'm guessing this means Deathgaze will be appearing on Decidia's next album then as a Decidia song (feat. the ex-DTS members) seeing as Stargaze was originally meant to complement that song?
| | | Aside from the spoken word parts, I really enjoyed each individual section. Great guitar and really like the vocals. I agree with Reanimator though that it should build a bit more and have a bit more direction. A vast improvement from DTS though; I definitely enjoyed it.
