2014-02-12 by Alex Newton | 15 Comments

Greek symphonic death metal veterans Septicflesh have announced the completion of their new album, Titan. The album will consist of ten songs and features the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, as their last album did. It will be released by Season of Mist and Prosthetic Records over the summer.
The band filmed the making of the album and has released the first in a series of videos documenting the process.

Just the snippets heard here are impressive. The Great Mass was an excellent album, and Communion before that, so my hopes are high for this one.

In a preliminary listening session of Metal Hammer Greece for the new album, Antoniou brothers said that Titan will present a better balance between the riffs and the orchestral parts.

Who finances their contracts with the orchestra I wonder? Ive always wanted to know how they can possibly afford all the hours and musicians that this endeavor must take. Cant wait though, looks promising.

Probably the Greek government, which would
explain the country's financial issues.
