AOTC if it's true.
I love these guys, but I think releasing an album after the classic that was Slaughter of The Soul is bound to draw a ton of disappointment.
We'll see, though.
AOTC? Btw had to post this even if it seems insignificant, Slaughter changed my life.
I've been there since the vast majority of re-releases for SOTS.
holy fuark if this is true
album will be titled creedence metalcore revival
No. Stop it.
They need to go on tour. Whether it's supporting a new album or just a reunion tour. I would love to see these guys live.
Digging: Pallbearer - Foundations of Burden
Digging: Spectral Lore - III
Carcass did it, ATG can too.
they've been back together with no real breaks since 2010. i bet they havent recorded shit cuz they want it to be really good. it's been four years now and they've been writing and now they are certain they want to do it cuz they think it upholds their greatness. it's gonna rule
will be SOTS pt.2 with andy sneap brickwall so noty
Digging: Objekt - Cactus / Porcupine
SOTS is the tits so a part two would be pretty sweet.
I will urinate everywhere is that is the case.
Digging: Death From Above 1979 - You're a Woman, I'm a Machine
I WILL ULCERATE EVERYWHERE IF THIS IS EVEN 3% TRUE OMFGGGGG
Here's to hoping it turns out as well as Surgical Steel. Their 2008 Wacken show is my favorite live album of ever.
Digging: EPISTASIS - Light Through Dead Glass
Yes...please, be real.
Digging: Dark Tranquillity - Character
I've never listened to this band before today even though I've intended to a million times. Now that I'm listening to Slaughter of the Soul, I realize how many bands pull their inspiration from At The Gates. Most notably, Unearth. The song Unto Others especially is just like clearly the inspiration for Unearth's existence.
"From the lips of the blind man
a kiss of decay
the dawn of the complacent/connected(?)
a sharpened blade"
There is a god. FUCK YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
no there isn't shush
Yes there is, an At The Gates album which is the soundtrack to seek and destroy infidels is the ultimate signal, lol
Digging: Death From Above 1979 - The Physical World
"will be SOTS pt.2 with andy sneap brickwall so noty"
Agreed Andy Sneap is a horrible mixer, the new Carcass is an exception.
I hope this is real.
I'm gonna rag on this like I did Carcass so it turns out amazing!
"Fuck ATG, they shouldn't do this. If they do, they will ruin their legacy!"
Let's see what happens.
Digging: Khonsu - Traveller
will it be a double album?
Digging: JJ Cale - Okie
Is that a Soilwork joke?
Carcass did it, ATG can too.
Exactly. If those old farts could do it, so can these. And this band's style is a lot easier to emulate.
Digging: Alpha Male Tea Party - Droids
this is certainly interesting
Digging: Gehenna - Seen Through the Veils of Darkness
I hope this turns out as fantastic as Carcass' comeback, but that's a really tall order
This is certainly the best anouncement of the year, duh.
I feel like this will end up pretty good. I'm not as big on SOTS as most people are it would seem, though, so that kinda makes it easier for me haha
Even if it sucks, Tomas will sound great
Digging: Necrophobic - The Nocturnal Silence
