The planets have finally aligned.-

This is no Modus Vivendi (4.5/5), but it's between Matters of the Dark (3.8/5) and Undead, which was a low 3.5 for me.

Sounds Ok. Urban Breed made this band and he is missed.

Yeah it's a good album, especially for a band that's been absent for so long. As I wrote earlier, Revenant is directly linked to Undead, an album that signalled the band's reunion after 5 years of indefinite status.

The album is merely a good stretch for the band, but now the only way for them is to go upward, just as they did in the late '90s - early '00s with every new album.

The new singer is awesome too, he was in a band called Lack of Faith (in the vein of Nevermore).

If it sounds like Sender of Thoughts I will avoid this album like the plague.

The main drawback of Sender of Thoughts lies in the flat sound production which pales in comparison to today's standards.

Other than that, it's a decent piece of atmospheric melodic '90s progressive metal.
