Have a Nice Life in 2014

2013-11-14 by Mrs Blankenship | 40 Comments
Connecticut post-rock duo Have a Nice Life have announced the release of their new album, The Unnatural
World
, via both their own label, Enemies' List, and up-and-coming black metal label The Flenser; the album is
being billed as "a colossally-sounding, perfectly-orchestrated example of industrial shoegaze". Its release date is
scheduled for February 4th, 2014, along with a repressing of their 2008 debut, Deathconciousness.

I dunno, didn't want to put like shoegazing post-folkerton, so I picked a term I've read thrown around a lot for them. I guess they do sound closer to shoegaze but that term doesn't really do them justice either.

I guess I'll wait for a repress. It'd be nice if limited edition runs weren't so literal in how limited they are.
