I agree. I liked Glass Clouds' debut but this is a disappointment. It just sounds like they want to be a Meshuggah clone and there are hardly any cleans.

Such a poor album. I can't believe the band thinks this will sell.

for chugs this is not bad, but I really hope their next album isn't like this. has none of the cool melody of TRT

@Bloc oh it'll sell. maybe not to the sputnik community but I guarantee it will sell. its not good, but the kids will eat it up and they already are.

Definitely not to Sputnik of course, but even these kids must realize this EP is merely drop-Z single string abuse. There is nothing interesting about it at all.

I won't bother with this, first two tracks were beyond terrible.

Kids will eat this up. It will probably be on so many Youtube "zomg best brakedownz of teh yaer 2013" and be heralded as the evolution of metal, metalcore, djent, whatever genre kids will put this group in. I thought the debut was kinda good with only two real standout tracks, but it had room to improve if they would have cleaned up the guitar tone a bit and had more consistently good vocals. What I've heard from this seems to emphasize the traits they needed to improve, sadly.

That almost had as many "o"'s as a tab of theirs.

@Bloc you seem to underestimate kids. they care about how many strings are on a guitar. 9 is new so this is going to be a big deal.

Band is so boring

I saw them live.

Just a wall of low tones

couldn't differentiate anything they were playing

I saw them live, too, and enjoyed the hell out of it. I actually enjoyed it more than Gojira, but that might be due to the fact that I was pinned against the stage when I saw Gojira.

I loved TRT, but this was disappointing as fuck. It's like they traded in melody an cleans an overall good songwriting for the heaviness of a 9 string.
