Limp Bizkit cover Ministry?

2013-10-16 by BigBlob | 39 Comments
It appears that Limp Bizkit have recorded a cover of Ministry’s song 'Thieves', for their new album Stampede Of The Disco Elephants. This news became apparent after lead singer Fred Durst posted a teaser video of the song on his Instragram.

This news is also somewhat surprising, considering Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen has previously made fun of Fred Durst when they met in a recording studio.

“The Limp-dickster motherf***er, whatever his name is. I got him naked and in a cowboy hat..."

Head on over here to check it out: http://www.theprp.com/2013/10/10/news/limp-bizkit-record-cover-of-ministrys-thieves-for-new-album-teaser-available/

Probably shouldn't take the cover seriously as it's very possible Fred's doing this to try to get a reaction out of Al.

This really isn't surprising since Limp Bizkit has been covering this song during live performances since 1998 I believe.

This. In the early days of Youtube back in early 2006 you'd look for "Ministry Thieves" and the first video was LB playing that song in Woodstock 1999

Did they ever play the full song live??

Honestly, all they used to do was play the main riff over and over while Durst asked them to jump or something

Everyday and everynight

I like to hold the "God Hates Figs" sign at anti gay events. That really gets the crazy religious folk heated.
