Thirty seconds in and I'm already bored by the utter lack of energy in the music.
Digging: False - Untitled
It's good, but not that good. I can't rate it more than a 3.
Digging: August Burns Red - Found in Far Away Places
At this point I'm finding it hard to imagine giving it anything more than a 2.5 at most. Pretty much everything is bad on this record.
Vengeance Falls? Holy fuck original.
The last track is actually pretty good, I'll give them that.
No it sucks
Woops it's too boring trivium try again. I'd try uploading it again. Maybe it's just a bug.
Well.. It's not as good as "In Waves" and comparing to the last 2 albums I think it's the weakest . One thing I have noticed the most is that David 's impact is too noticeable and it's not so good . Almost no growls on the record + David put is singing style on this record and it's not so good . Matt Vocals too weak.
Choosing David for the production wasn't a good thing to do...
Digging: Of Monsters and Men - Beneath the Skin
I had hope for this band when they made that japanese-ey album in 2008. They have fallen so far from grace
"I had hope for this band when they made that japanese-ey album in 2008. They have fallen so far from grace"
You're talking about "Shogun"
Anyway , I think "In Waves" was great as well...
I'll give this a listen because of nostalgia I have for this band but I doubt it'll be any good.
Shogun was definately their best. I love Kirisute Gomen.
Surprisingly not bad.
won't top ascendancy or shogun but this is pretty solid stuff
"Won't top ascendancy or shogun"
"but this is pretty solid stuff"
Fanboy checking in.
Useless contribution to the conversation to say that I absolutely love this album.
Still think Ascendancy is my favorite record for nostalgia purposes since I still regularly spin it but this just adds to my endless satisfaction with this band. Can shuffle and love every single song.
Digging: Architects - Lost Forever // Lost Together
misfit cover blows
I used to love this band. Shogun and Ascendency are my favorites. I'm just so bored by Heafy's vocals at this point.
