I still enjoy these guys. Good track. My friend who i showed this band thinks the album is a
masterpiece in his own words. I regret showing him this band.

Can someone explain why so many people love to hate on them? I hear it all the time but I never hear any reason behind it.

Halpern is a fantastic drummer, despite what anyone might think of this band. After a year of lurking
on this site, I never thought my first post would be on Periphery news. Oh well. I guess I have to get
to rating things.

Is ok, average video of a live presentation. Song is good but I found other songs made by them more
enjoyable. Biggest problem with this band is the vocal work, instrumentation is consistent.

"sometimes i think the "meshuggah ripoff" description of "djent" is really overblown but then i listened to this"

aside from the intro this really sounds nothing like shuggah...

easily the best song on p2

"you would 5 the beatles lametheflame god what a loser.

Eh I am sorry. I was just trying to rate music I have just been listening to recently. Those shitty
Beatles have recently been hitting the spot, but usually they are a 2 in my book. I hope I can still
be cool here.

Also, yeah I think this is probably the best song on the album. I am also quite fond of the guitar
work on Scarlet though. It is so incredibly catchy... I am not going to do well here.

Nah man MadMikeLove is just a douche. Periphery is nothing special at all. Halpern is a damn good drummer though. His ghost notes are intense.

Im sure you dont have to give a shit what you wear when your famous. When I saw Asking Alexandria 3 years ago the lead singer wore their own shirt, oh yeah and they were horrible.

I think Calc hit the nail on the head to Forevermore's question: "Can someone explain why so many people love to hate on them? I hear it all the time but I never hear any reason behind it."

"1.they are popular
2.they are djent
3.the lead singer"

I personally love the vocals and everything sounds pretty awesome. These guys have some good jamz. Not interested in the video but I really want more news about either the upcoming EP or the concept album P3 (Juggernaut)

Also I think the best song on this album is "Luck As A Constant"
