Universally loved metal group Periphery have released a new music video for the song "Ragnarok" of their latest release Periphery II: This Time It's Personal.
Video can be viewed here:
hmmmm yea guitarcams
Another live video. Nothing to see here.

I so happy I was able to contribute Periphery news on this site!!!!
Digging: L'Orange and Stik Figa - The City Under The City (Instrumental)
Even though its a live vid.....either way I know how you people pine for Periphery news.
except matt halpern ripping it bloc
Digging: Weekend Nachos - Still
I could see that in any drum video of his
Digging: HORSE the band - Desperate Living
sometimes i think the "meshuggah ripoff" description of "djent" is really overblown but then i listened to this

I still enjoy these guys. Good track. My friend who i showed this band thinks the album is a
masterpiece in his own words. I regret showing him this band.
Dat high note at the end :P.
Inb4 flood of comments on how band suks dick and Sponce is stopid.
Digging: Hammock - Oblivion Hymns
Can someone explain why so many people love to hate on them? I hear it all the time but I never hear any reason behind it.
1.they are popular
2.they are djent
3.the lead singer
Halpern is a fantastic drummer, despite what anyone might think of this band. After a year of lurking
on this site, I never thought my first post would be on Periphery news. Oh well. I guess I have to get
to rating things.
Is ok, average video of a live presentation. Song is good but I found other songs made by them more
enjoyable. Biggest problem with this band is the vocal work, instrumentation is consistent.
"sometimes i think the "meshuggah ripoff" description of "djent" is really overblown but then i listened to this"
aside from the intro this really sounds nothing like shuggah...
easily the best song on p2
you would 5 the beatles lametheflame god what a loser.
Loser doesn't even know that periphery is based, periphery is life.
Universally loved = fact.
Best song on the album should have had a better vid.
Erised is better than this
Sounds so typical

Eh I am sorry. I was just trying to rate music I have just been listening to recently. Those shitty
Beatles have recently been hitting the spot, but usually they are a 2 in my book. I hope I can still
be cool here.
Also, yeah I think this is probably the best song on the album. I am also quite fond of the guitar
work on Scarlet though. It is so incredibly catchy... I am not going to do well here.
The Drummer's gainz doe...
Nah man MadMikeLove is just a douche. Periphery is nothing special at all. Halpern is a damn good drummer though. His ghost notes are intense.
lol I was completely joking I love sgt. Pepper
But yea Matt Halpern is the only interesting band member of periphery. and Nolly.
well that was a boring video
Not gonna lie more interesting than anything on Meshuggah's new album.
this and make total are like the only decent tracks on p2
kinda but they use more than 2 "riffs" in a song
"and while he hits the notez, the notes themselves are gay"
Still the most accurate description of their vocalist EVER
wow this djent genre is pretty stinky. wow it smells BAD.
I mean sounds
woah this was bad
Erised is pretty boring imo, even the guest solo doesn't make it much better
why is the drummer wearing a periphery shirt and periphery shorts?
Im sure you dont have to give a shit what you wear when your famous. When I saw Asking Alexandria 3 years ago the lead singer wore their own shirt, oh yeah and they were horrible.
Really boring video.
I think Calc hit the nail on the head to Forevermore's question: "Can someone explain why so many people love to hate on them? I hear it all the time but I never hear any reason behind it."
"1.they are popular
2.they are djent
3.the lead singer"
I personally love the vocals and everything sounds pretty awesome. These guys have some good jamz. Not interested in the video but I really want more news about either the upcoming EP or the concept album P3 (Juggernaut)
Also I think the best song on this album is "Luck As A Constant"
