whole lotta 80s worship on here.
at least it's not save rock and roll pt. II.
| |
with what's his name in rehab, the entirety of panic! is a branon urie solo project.
| |
I seriously love the first song. and love how he got depeche mode to play the fourth one
| |
"80s worship"
not necessarily a bad thing, nig.
| |
I honestly loved it. The end of the album really kicks ass. I have a feeling that the final track is somewhat dedicated to Spencer Smith.
| |
Oh the humanity...
| |
talking to yourself chipmunk?
| |
referencing, my nig
| |
mm hmm lol
| |
i thought they ditched the exclamation mark. are they flip flopping on the exclamation mark?
| |
they reclaimed it after the two people who wanted to continue to suck the beatles' and the beach boys' dicks were kicked out.
| |
have not kept up wrt exclamation mark
| |
Honestly the sound change doesn't bother me cause it kinda works. Unlike some bands that try to make a drastic change. (fun)
| |
lol this sounds so different from what I was expecting
| |
the last song saves it and makes it feel a little more diverse. otherwise I'd call it a couple of singles shoved in front of a bunch of 80's songs
| |
yeah, I like the last song, but it'll get old fast.. the two singles they released already are the best songs off this album lol the rest of the album sorta sucks.
| |
yay verm!
| |
What happened to them ripping of Queen?!
| |
never happened
| |
wow FOB and PatD new music wow so wow levl 100 wow
| |
wow such an opinion
| |
yeah, and way too strong of one for someone who probably just got pissed from hearing "sugar we're
going down" and "i write sins not tragedies" on the radio, and swore vengeance upon those responsible

Lol, those opinions are just silly, first of all I've heard a big part of their discography. In the first album I tried to listen at full and I have to stop in i constantly thank god for esteban cuz it was awful. Them I heard Pretty Odd too and it was worse, after finishing Folkin Around I got sick. The vocal work is abysmal, the songwriting is dull and their ripoffs of queen and the beatles are just bad. And fall out boy are just corporate rock with nothing remarkable or soemthing good too offer, they have some of the most lame vocals in the history, a bassist which is worse than the standard deathcore bass player. Some annoying tunes and the lyrics always involves the same cliche topics ( and if you're going to say that this band has good lyrics you are just retarded, fuck, band has some of the most inmature lyrics in pop punk history). I've heard a good aprt of the album, is silly just to hate smoething because is popular, I know the works of these " artists" and they are far from contain some sort of integrity or from being something solid with artistic merits.

"the entirety of panic! is a branon urie solo project."
"What happened to them ripping of Queen?!"
goddamn it cyg
| |
I can't get This Is Gospel out of my head....
| |
I've forgotten every other song...
| |
God dammit, the singles have been shit. Don't have a good feeling about this one.
| |
not a fan of this, mirrors save rock and roll for me (not in terms of sound but in terms of how disappointing it is)
| |
"they reclaimed it after the two people who wanted to continue to suck the beatles' and the beach boys' dicks were kicked out."
unfortunately one of those guys was the main songwriter and lyricist which is why now we have a radio pop solo album.
| |
their first album was great, second album was alright, third album was bad but in a guilty pleasure way, this one is probably just plain bad.
| |
I like this album. Forgettable? Maybe. But very enjoyable.
| |
"girl that you love" sounds strikingly similar to innerpartysystem.

Damn that's a good thing. Unless you mean the most recent IPS...
| |
like 3 songs in and this is pretty much justin bieber aping depeche mode wtf happened like barely even exaggerating
| |
umm >;/
| |
oh and youtube comments make me want to drink bleach
| |
brendon's a good singer but you can barely tell with all the effects on his voice now.
| |
no... believe it or not i know what autotune is. it's used for pitch correction. i never said he did
or didn't use autotune, i'm saying that i think some of the vocal effects that "add to the atmosphere"
are kind of overdone when you compare them to their other albums.
| |
exactly
| |
They've changed their sound every time, so it's really hard to judge this. I want to like it; it sounds a little like Bastille (which I don't mind) and I like the synthy stuff, but this is the most departed album.
Oh well, they didn't turn into FOB reincarnated at least.
| |
opening track rules. IF YOU LOVE ME LET ME GOOOOOOOO
| |
ya i like the music video
| |
Slowly growing on me, but those YouTube comments. Dear lord.
| |
One of the best videos I've seen yah.
| |
I'm really digging this. 3.5 at the least.
| |
agreed. opening track is still my favorite though
| |
one of my least favorites :/
| |
the opening track or the album?
| |

| |
