Metal band Hellyeah says they are "already writing new material and gearing up for their next album". Vinnie Paul says their new record will be recorded in a new location downtown from his Texas home where the past 3 have been done.
Vinnie is quoted as saying "we really want to take our music to the next level." We can expect to hear updates in the near future about their upcoming release. You can read more of the interview through the link below:

Fuck, I guess Mudvayne truly are done.
For fuck sake, this band is fucking horrible. Chad Gray, stick to mudvayne.
Digging: Down - NOLA
^yeah, really? what happened to mudvayne?
He doesn't give a shit about it anymore because he's working with Vinnie Paul. This band is a joke and HORRENDOUS live.
dang ole drinkin beer n' suchHELLYEAH bo gettin drunk and livin liiife!!
Vinnie Paul was the worst part about Pantera anyway. His drumming was incredibly boring and offered very little variety.
This is stupid. Get more Mudvayne out! Hellyeah is TERRIBLE!!!
The individual members of this band are talented enough in their other or former bands, but good God, they can't come together to make an enjoyable song in this group to save their lives.
Great. I can hardly wait.

I really wish someone in their inner circle would tell these guys that their music sucks. Maybe then they would at least attempt to change their style.
Or just, you know, bring Mudvayne back
Digging: Warning - Watching from a Distance
That would work too
I honestly never thought I would see this much support for Mudvayne in one Sputnik thread lol.
Not that I disagree, something is wrong when Ryan Martinie is not out there playing bass.
C'mon Vinnie, go back to Pantera. Oh wait...
Come on man, Vinnie was a good drummer. Listen to Becoming, that song shows off his chops.
Hellyeah is awful though. I'm stunned that this band is still around. This really says a lot about how many bands are left in this genre...there is no one left doing anything interesting so these guys are able to keep making terrible records.
its interesting that people immediately think mudvayne when hearing this band
Band should die, fuck Vinnie. You were the drummer of pantera, you should doing good shit. Damageplan comapred to this is a frekain masterpiece
im gonna blast this in my pick up truck
Digging: Mayak and Smile To The Wind - Split EP
mappy finally changing out that beyond cops, beyond god cd
Ya I wasn't allowed to offer an opinion on the actual news thread but this band has only gone downhill from the start. All of the members have been in good bands on their own. Even Nothingface had some good material. But put together they just make shit music. Anyone with half a bit of intelligence is way behind 90% of the music these guys have released.
Digging: Demilich - Nespithe
Can this band quit so I can see Ryan Martinie live?
Digging: Saves the Day - Stay What You Are
does everyone forget that mudvayne has sucked for years as well?
Digging: Waxahatchee - American Weekend
I haven't. I honestly like Nothingface the most of the bands this was formed from. Pantera doesn't count, Vinnie's had more terrible projects that render that factor almost pointless to the band. But yeah, Mudvayne's been pretty shaky for the past few releases.
What about the post Mudvayne Working on New Album
"does everyone forget that mudvayne has sucked for years as well?"
It's funny cause Ryan and Matt are the only good members of Mudvayne anyway so they might as well just go do their own thing while Chad and Greg make this shit stain music
Greg isn't anything special, but he fits Mudvayne well enough. Chad can go now, though. His voice is far from what it used to be. Which was above par at his best moments.
Greg suits Mudvayne because his restrained style really lets Ryan and Matt shine, but they don't really need him. Chad is definitely done for and hasn't sounded good in an eternity. At his prime though, he was a beast
Mudvayne used to have some crazy stage presence though
Mudvayne had L.D. 50, and then other stuff I don't remember.
give me a hell give me a yeah stand up right now
and give me a HELL give me a YEAAAAAAAAAAH
The End of All Things to Come ruled hard too
now say it in a macho man randy savage-like accent
The Come To End All Things
except it didn't end all things, but it should have
lets restart that lol thing
someguest your attempts to shock the world ended when you agreed with a kid dying. so telling us you liked 9/11 is nothing new
my comment should probably be deleted
I've never ripped dust before.
you seriously always find a way to be funny
And I'm not even drunk!
yet c'mon you can't leave out the major deets
it's almost 3 in the morning
just a tad late to start swigging the magical drink
i forget you live on the boring coast
Besides, I've been a full blown alcoholic all summer. It's time to stop for awhile.
this thread is so much better than talking about the band that this thread is about.
Digging: High Power - High Power
when these dudes try to be Lite Pantera they suck even more. Vinnie go talk to Anselmo pls
I kind of resent this band because of how badly XM radio tried to cram it down my throat for a while. To this day, I still don't know if that one really obnoxious DJ actually liked them because he just has bad taste or if he was being paid to pretend they were the second coming of Pantera.
WHAT THEY SAY
"We really want to take our music to the next level."
WHAT THEY MEAN
"This album will, in all likelihood, sound exactly like the ones that came before it."
Whoa, a Steerpike siting!
Common people.. HELLYEAH is not bad. yeah they have some bad songs but overall they are awesome.
Why did people comment after Scoot he said the perfect thing
did you join just to post that?
Love that prog Metal tag on their homepage.
I just discovered the website yesterday.
