Sometimes In Flames will write a chorus that has a very infectious melody, like a melo death pop song. I wrote off the new album mostly but this song, and "Where the Dead Ships Dwell" have that kind of chorus.

Depending on the song, I'm either bored by this band, or out of nowhere will come a melody/harmony combo that makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

I thought their last album was pretty good but I haven't listened to any of their work pre-clayman.

If you've never listened to their pre-Clayman shit then you need to get off Sputnik and listen to all of them right now

If you haven't listened to pre-Sputnik shit then you need to get off Clayman and all the music.

Song is good.

I dig this song, I wish the rest of the album were as good as this and Where the Dead Ships Dwell. At least they still kick ass live consistently.

I've only listened to Clayman, Come Clarity, and SOAPF. But yeah, I'll definitly give their first couple albums a spin.

Are they still milking an album they put out in 2011? Sales must be good for them.

Lets get real here of course they wont change. I love all their shit and yes TJR is classic, but hell they are recording right now so we will just have to see where they go. And yes they do play pre Clayman shit live. Sounds like they are really stuck on Colony era stuff if you look at the entire live set.

These guys are still pretty good but they lack the emotion and sporadic stylings of earlier material, even the album before this one had a bit of emotion in some tracks. Their 2002 album did this sound right, as soon as they switched over to this sound they did it good, and then they repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it and repeated it
