"Blackbird" showed potential; haven't heard any of their other releases. What's the verdict?
| |
In class right now but I'm sure that this rules hard.
| |
Cip should be here shortly.
| |

Addicted to Pain sounded a little like a rehash of an old AB song, but so far the rest of the album sounds good. Will probably end up at a 4.
| |
This is fucking awesome (context: have always liked them, but this is another story...)
| |
Cannot listen, fuck!!!!
| |
Damn
| |
Damn, are they getting heavier or is it just me? Awesome album, btw.
| |
definitely been leaning more towards metal on ever subsequent release, this is feeling like a 3.5-4 atm
| |
I didn't know they were doing a Protest the Hero cover album.
| |
Never listened to these guys until now. God damn their guitarist can shred.
| |
That's an old joke.
| |
Just like Dream Theater, there is an exclusive stream for each country.
For Greece:

Wasn't the physical copy supposed to drop this week?
| |

| |
Listened to the first track, sounds pretty kewl
| |
About halfway through and this is epic
| |
Yeah it's very good
| |
holy fuck myles' range on calm the fire holy fuck
| |
Great album, I just loved it. Blackbird is a little bit better but it was still great.
| |
Digging this way harder than I thought l would.
| |
Eh, I've never been able to get past Kennedy's voice. Think I'll pass on this.
| |
It's a darker version of Blackbird...where Blackbird has shown some roots of Hard Rock (mainly), Fortress kicks us back to an old metal mood. Right from the opening track you can see some speed metal relations (just remember Tremonti's solo project). + cool soloing...well, all what you like in Alter Bridge is multiplied here!
| |
More of the same, but still sounding reasonably fresh. On par with ABIII which was by the way a great album.
| |
i really like that they are finally adding just a little more heaviness to this album. Seems tremonti's project really influenced a lot of fortress.
| |
Lover sounds like a Mayfield Four song, love it!
Probably their best effort since One Day Remains.

Needs less mastubatory meedlies. Overall solid and great.
| |
A textbook, of our crying lying dying history!
| |
The only song on here that I don't really like is All Ends Well, more because of bad lyrics than anything else. Aside form that, this is easily stronger than ABIII and it could surpass Blackbird in time. Loving the heaviness here.

Probably their best effort since One Day Remains.
oh dear
| |
Not gonna lie. Never listened to these guys before, but this isn't bad at all. Might take a few more listens to see if I can really get into them. But this is pretty good.
| |
First song I listened to by these guys was Isolation and man that is one damn good track.
| |
I heard this band through WWE. Metalingus was an entrance song for Edge.
| |
The album is available on YouTube, you don't have to click the link anymore. Album kicks ass, though Myles vocals are much more nasally on the record than the previous ones, not sure why.
