New Purtenance Album

Old school Finnish death metal cornerstone Purtenance will release its second full length album, Awaken From Slumber, on October 1st. The aptly titled record will be the band's first full length since 1992's Member Of Immortal Damnation.

immortal was pretty sweet, yeah sure not a classic but I liked it quite a bit.

idk what to expect but of all the great bands that keep announcing releases this year, some of them are bound to be good. I'm a positive person, I have faith.

brutality hadn't released an album in 16 years...and that shit was good

then again brutality was imo better than purtenance to start with but i digress

immortal is still solid finnish death metal regardless...and finnish death metal >>
