There have been so many damn times I've looked at the music news section of this site and saw Of Montreal and initially thought it said Of Machines. Glad this wasn't another one. I'm pumped for the new tunes.

Can't wait for this album. Their debut album was in my opinion one of the best post-hardcore albums ever made.

U are not stoked anymore over a 20 second clip when I'm not even sure if the band is done recording much less producing? lol. awesome logic.

That teaser was painfully short, but I'm fucking pumped that they have a new album coming out soon.
Their debut is fantastic.

U suck at the English language. By the way, teasers are supposed to be just that... Something that sparks your interest and makes you want to hear/see more. This did not. Hence, the lack of excitement.

A shame Thornton isn't in this release. Say what you want about the guy, he was a legit drummer and would've made a repetitive part like the teaser a bit more interesting.

Well the drumming on the debut had terrible sound. His drumming got better with woe is me but became extremely repetitive. Probably wouldn't have sounded much better on this. Though the clip sounded like they looped a 5 second part instead of a whole 20 seconds.

I dunno, I actually really liked his drumming on their debut. It could be a looped clip, sure, but it still sounds pretty standard. Thornton's stuff became repetitive, but at least it was still interesting. I guess I'm just a fan of drum fills. Haha

self-taught drummer of like 2 1/2 years here, Thorton's drumming isn't that impressive nor is it complicated/hard. i'm sure their new drummer will be just as good if not better.

trust me.

Drummer for 8+ years here, I think it's pretty impressive. I mean...there's MUCH better out there, but for what Of Machines/Woe, is Me initially was, it was great to listen to.
