They've definitely done worse.
Digging: A Tribe Called Quest - We got it from Here? Thank You 4 Your service
Not bad. Nothing special either but it could definitely be worse. But the distortion on his harsh vocals is annoying.
Digging: The Birthday Massacre - Superstition
ugh, this band should have died with the 90s
The 90s will never die as long as there are 90s kids to remember them
Well at least it's better than Never Never.
Digging: Khonsu - The Xun Protectorate
inb4 breaking bad references
"inb4 breaking bad references"
Aaron Paul starred in that music video for Thoughtless.
^ Yeah lol
the song has issues, mainly cause of the copy/paste feel of it. however, still is leagues better than the stuff off of the last two records
Not bad actually. Not bad at all.
Digging: The Chameleons - What Does Anything Mean? Basically
the chorus and the main riff are my favorite parts, reminded me of a modern version of Follow the Leader
They definitely do have that feel to them.
I actually dig this. I have good feelings about this album, might be up there with self-titled and Follow the Leader
It could also be down there with Path of Totality and Untitled but shut the hell up, a boy can dream
"It could also be down there with Path of Totality and Untitled but shut the hell up, a boy can dream"
Shoot me for saying this, but I actually quite liked the Untitled record. actually felt like an honest attempt at branching their sound out, even if it wasn't as heavy as their early records
Way better than "Never Never", but still not that great. Hoping it grows on me.
Love it. Especially that chorus. Bridge is pretty good, too.
Yeah, it'll definitely be a better album than the last one.
better than never never. boring guitars but davis chorus is nice.
Digging: Broadside - Old Bones
Transition into chorus is awkward
By korn standards that was actually not bad.
YES. THIS is the shit I expect with Head back in the band again, not that "Never Never" shit.
Song rules hard. Can't wait for the album.
Gives me some nice nostalgia. Reminds me of their older work that I grew up with. Not a bad song at all, but can't see myself listening to this more than a couple times.
Chorus is actually decent.
Digging: Midnight Faces - Heavenly Bodies
Those guitar tones rule, they sound like the ones on Head's Love And Death album. I was hoping he would carry that over into Korn.
It's a leak? So sputnik is allowed to post leaks to the news feed now?
quite an improvement
better than never never, but still shit
Digging: Misery Signals - Controller
I like it.
Digging: Queen - A Night at the Opera
Song isnt even that bad, but sputnik will automatically hate it.
great chorus. good bridge. decent guitar. shitty verses.
That wasn't very good.
If more of the album is like this it could be a 3.5-4 for me. Just less of the Never Never stuff. I didn't mind it up don't want another full album of it.
Digging: Band-Maid - YOLO
I really dislike songs that live and die only by their choruses. :/ That said, this song wasn't terrible.
Digging: City of the Sun - To the Sun and All the Cities in Between
That wasn't good.
do people even care about this band anymore
it was pretty great
This song's actually not bad, and the drumming is pretty tight.
Digging: Enemies - Valuables
Compared to their recent efforts this is solid, maybe their newste album will be a 3
Definitely not a bad song. I dug it
That was unexpected. Good, but unexpected.
Seems like they're still using pro-tools. Something about seemed copy and paste.
So, the intro was weak, the main riff was boring, the transition into the chorus was awkward and the chorus sounded like the chorus of basically every radio-inspired alternative/pop metal song. How is this a great song exactly? It doesn't get better after the chorus.
which is more than I would have expected after hearing never never
not bad...happy 2 see head's return.maybe I'll give a 3.5,for the nostalgia
Wahou, that riff ! They definitely could not have written this without "Head"
"do people even care about this band anymore"
How about you go to one of their sold out shows at a music arena and ask yourself that?
The song is pretty decent. I like the chorus a lot
"The 90s will never die as long as there are 90s kids to remember them"
pretty meh really
If all the other songs except never never are as good as this chorus, this could be a really good album.
anybody noticed that cadenze in the guitar repeating the same note ala the theme from the Rocky soundtrack? I like that
Meh, just sounds like another Korn song. Nothing special
The vocalist is so bad.
