The Chariot farewell tour

2013-08-16 by I don't know everything, I only know what I know | 54 Comments
Georgia metalcore quartet, The Chariot, have announced that they will be breaking up near
the end of the year, once they perform what will be their last tour, titled "All's Well That Ends Well", which will be starting on October 10th and conclude on November 16th.
The announcement was done through a montage, posted on Youtube, reminiscing about their experiences.

"Thank you. To everyone on this planet Earth that has ever supported us, helped us, watched us, hung out with us, given us a place to stay, given food, prayed over us, loaned us equipment, advised us, booked us, or given us a chance, no matter how big or small...we are forever grateful."

Really sad to see them go, but they had a good run. All their albums are excellent, especially their last few. Really hope they manage a trip to Australia.

I haven't been this upset since my dog died.
For the record, I don't get that upset ever, so this actually isn't saying much. Still though.

I'd rather bands go out on top than burn out. At least Norma Jean is back to make up for their absence.

Josh Scogin must really hate making money. In ten years he's walked away from two bands at the peak of their profitability.

Peak of profitability /= a lot of money
I was at my peak of profitability selling two ounces a week and just smoked all my profit.

wasn't trying to be, but I suppose this is: "Josh Scogin must really hate making money. In ten years he's walked away from two bands at the peak of their profitability."

Glad I spent the summer with them. One last tour will be fun.

They're going out on top. Hands down, the best live rock performance today. Will be missed, but their reputation will remain intact.

"It won't last."

they don't seem like the kind of people that would just end something willy nilly without meaning it. i highly doubt they will come back.

also they've been good for a while. aka the whole time
