Swedish epic doomsters Below have recently signed a record deal with Metal Blade Records.

The band had the following to say on the new label deal:

"It’s an honor for us to be given this opportunity of working with such a legendary label. We’re really proud to be part of the Metal Blade family; this will be the perfect home for BELOW. Together we will make a mark and set a standard for quality doom music."

The band's debut full-length release has been scheduled for some time in 2014.

Wow, Metal Blade has really done an about-face with their roster. They now sign more doom and 70s inspired stoner rock than Whitechapel's hahaha.

This is true. Everyone is doing it. We have a new EP that will be out hopefully soon as well. But not on Metal Blade.
