New Evan Brewer Album Out

Evan Brewer, known as the bassist of the metal band The Faceless, has released a follow up to his solo bass album, Alone.

The new album, entitled Your Itinerary, is a more comprehensive effort than Alone, and features percussion and electronics in addition to Brewer's virtuoso bass playing.

From a technical standpoint, Evan always delivers the goods. I can't ever see myself enjoying this as anything more than background noise though

Definitely better than the first album, as this is a trio playing. But it'll still get only a rare listen from me every now and then.

God this guy makes me want to just give up playing. He's too good. That being said, I don't think I dig this as much as his first. Still some really cool stuff though and maybe it'll grow on me. I'm definitely excited to see him play live next month. With a whole live band, I could picture some cool jammy improv shit thrown in the set.

The bass really needs to be accompanied by some badass guitar riffs...as good as he is, the instrument is just too dull for the style he's going for

It's pretty decent but i somewhat agree with TarkAhh, kinda dull. Best track is Another World hands down.
