No, not yet. Not that any 'fears' are present, though I hope they can step things up from Backspacer, which was good but most of all a reminder that they're way past their prime.

Most of Pearl Jam fans enjoy their records after Vitalogy so... Plus Yield and Self Titled are just as good as Vitalogy...

Yea, I think so. Vitalogy has a bunch of amazing tracks but a bunch of filler and those were both fantastic records, almost
all the way through.

Also I'm quite certain that the fans of the band have enjoyed just about everything they have put out.

the first three albums were their best by far, i think. not to say that yield and the st were bad (at all), but they're clearly not as good. most of their latter day stuff is a handful of good songs with a bunch of mediocre ones. i'm sure most pearl jam fans DO enjoy their records after vitalogy, but as much? i seriously doubt it.

Pearl Jam used to be my favorite band back in the 90's. I would have to say that Ten, Vs., Vitalogy, No Code, and Yield were definitely their best albums. Those were their first five albums in that order. After that, starting with Binaural, they began to go downhill for me. I still like several songs off of their later albums, but I don't think are as good as their older stuff. On a different note, check out the song called "You Are" from Riot Act. It's a lesser known song, but I always find myself listening to it when I'm chilling with my buddies. Cool tune.

Wow what a tour! I'm definitely going to catch them down in New Orleans at Voodoo. That's going to be the best show of the tour. Voodoo's vibe is perfect for PJ.

Agree with Darkwatch025...best albums were Ten, Vitalogy, No Code and Yield. I lost interest completely with subsequent albums which were poorer. Although just going off the teasers alone, it sounds to me like they're back to an almost No Code sort of sound with this album? I think it COULD be a return to form.

Minus.

"You people who only know of 3 pearl jam albums should not be allowed to post on Pearl Jam news."

Hey fuck stick I've heard every album they've made after Vitalogy and they all gargled my balls almost as much as your mom.

"Most of Pearl Jam fans enjoy their records after Vitalogy so... Plus Yield and Self Titled are just as good as Vitalogy"

Most Pearl Jam fans know that the first 3 were the best by far so your misguided statement doesnt mean anything.
