Japanese electronic metalcore act Crossfaith have premiered a new music video/song entitled 'We Are The Future' from their upcoming album Apocalypze, which set to be released sometime in September.
The video can be viewed here :
"Japanese electronic metalcore"
Not a massive fan of this type of music but 1:54 onwards was pretty sweet
Digging: The Mire - Glass Cathedrals
Much better than I was expecting, which was very little haha. But actually, its not terrible.
These guys do the electro metalcore thing much better than most other bands. Go figure, they're
Japanese. New song is pretty good, not sure how I feel about the video though.
Saw them at warped, they were all really cool. They keyboardist seemed to love me because I was right
up front singing along to everything.
Album comes out September 3rd in America and September 9th in Europe (and somewhere around there for
I listened to Zion a while back. That record is quite good. These guys have a very cool sound. They just need to keep improving their songwriting.
Digging: Lamb of God - As the Palaces Burn
^ you should listen to the album The Dream, The Space
their prodigy cover was cool
Surprisingly not the worst thing ever, still not my thing though.
Digging: Sigur Ros - Ágætis Byrjun
These guys are on another level, easily the best 'core' band I have seen live (and I've seen a lot).
They're Japanese so we shouldn't really be that surprised I guess.
If you guys think this is good you really should check out their earlier stuff, mainly songs like Blue and Mirror from their first album. This song is growing on me quite a bit, but it still pales in comparison to the other two songs I mentioned.
Also I have to echo the sentiments of the people who saw Crossfaith live.....They were straight-up awesome. I guess it's because Japanese people know how to get it down.
I had the pleasure of talking to these guys in Japanese, they're super friendly and I even got got a Corssfaith pick from their keyboardist because I "was a longtime fan and could speak Japanese."
I've heard people say they are one of the best live bands going. Haven't seen them live so I can't confirm nor deny.
Fantastic live band.

Their old stuff is utter garbage imo. This sounds cool, but very, very similar to the Zion EP. Hope there is a bit more variation on the album.

Hope there is a bit more variation on the album.
What...?? How can you listen to Stars Faded In Slow Motion or K and tell me that it's garbage?
was good but I prefer their 2 prior albums. However, I also hope there is more variation on the new
Also, they were great live but there wasn't much of a crowd, so that kinda sucked

Yeah, the keyboardist was really cool. I tried learning Japanese and was hoping to talk to them a
bit in Japanese when I saw them, but when the day came I didn't know enough. Maybe next year.
It's just my opinion. Their early work just sounds like a dodgy MUCC musically. This is the definite step forward for them in terms of sound, they just need to mix it up a little. Again, just my opinion.
