Industrial giants Nine Inch Nails have released a music video for the first single off of their upcoming album Hesitation Marks (due out September 3rd), entitled 'Came Back Haunted'. The video was directed by David Lynch, and comes with a warning that it could potentially cause seizures in those with photosensitive epilepsy.

Not feeling it at all. It's pretty tasteless compared to some of his other videos.

I iz not impressed...

Video is about what I expected once I heard about them teaming up for this to be honest. Definitely interesting though. I really dig this track still though, so your mileage may vary.

It just felt like they mashed together a bunch of random effects and put them on a video.

This is, in my opinion, the worst NIN music video ever made

'Head like a Hole' was similar to this video, but that one just simply looked better

A performance video akin to The Hand That Feeds video would've been enough. These are just a few images interspersed with Reznor, singing.

he's never gonna top "fuck you like an animal" (which is what he should have called the song). this is lame, still

Track is a bit lazy and doesn't really go anywhere, but it's got a nice groove.

The comments on the video are as retarded as expected from YouTube.

Ehh, have to kind of agree with the lazy comments...not what I was hoping for anyway, hoping for better things on the album, though really not getting hopes too high up for this one

Oh I agree with the lazy ones. I was talking about the people saying "you're all fake fans who just like pop" and "who cares if the video is bad? It's all about the song!"

Youtube and Sputnik agree it seems.

I mean, Lynch has absolutely done better work. But honestly, I really like the direction he took this video in.

It reminds me of some of Lynch's short films he did pre-Eraserhead. Like The Alphabet or Six Men Getting Sick.

The closer video is actually really good. This one, not so much.

Did the beginning of the song remind anyone of something off of the Downward Spiral? I was just waiting for the song to explode into him screaming and then it just went nowhere.

The only problem with this song is his voice. Its too high in the mix and he just sounds...too old to really sound harsh. His range is really diminished.

That's a pretty extreme. Song's awesome, video is pretty lame.

Can't believe this came from the guy who made Downward Spiral + the guy who made Mulholland Drive :/ very, very disappointing. Song isn't bad though, even if it feels like a track held off of Year Zero.
