Stream Maya Jane Coles' Debut LP

2013-06-27 by Deviant. STAFF | 8 Comments
Reigning queen of house Maya Jane Coles (sorry Paris) has, in conjunction with Clash Magazine, released her debut LP Comfort, for streaming ahead of its early July release.

In commenting on the album, Ms. Coles had the following to say: "It's been a long process, I wanted to build my fanbase and have people waiting for what I was going to do before I released it. I didn’t want to make a debut album for it to just get lost. You see good artists just disappear on the ‘net all the time."

The album features guest appearances from Nadine Shah, Miss Kittin, Karin Park and trip hop don Tricky.

Maya's own label I/AM/ME will release Comfort on July 1st in Europe, and July 2nd for North America
