It's ok. Wiz Khalifa's verse is awful and it's disappointing he put those grating trap-style hi hats
Damn this isn't very good at all just feels lazy
Digging: Downfall of Nur - Umbras de Barbagia
Yeah I really hope this isn't the best on the album.
I agree this was pretty disappointing. The featured guests just take it to a worse level.
he just just stick with krizz kaliko and kutt kalhoun, etc.
Hopefully we can look forward to better tracks.
this guy is terrible
Digging: Young Thug - Barter 6
I'd listen to him over kanye west any day
lol cool story bro
go back to your fields
listening to K.O.D. right now. I hadn't jammed it all the way through for some reason it's pretty great
what do you think is his best? cos I've only heard 6s and 7s or whatever it's called
"I'd listen to him over kanye west any day"
I wouldn't. :D
Digging: Mo*Te - Life in a Peaceful New World
@fish, oh damn. check out his older stuff (anghellic and absolute power) both are fantastic but my all-time favorite is probably everready (the religion) it's like 17 tracks and they all rule.
@cyg, yeah that's why i'm concerned for you :3
"what do you think is his best? cos I've only heard 6s and 7s or whatever it's called"
i'd recommend kod and everready in particular.
also i have to agree with the rest of the thread... wiz sounds like shit (as usual) and the beat's kinda cheesy. tech himself sounds good though
I haven't heard K.O.D. enough to recommend it but it's sounding promising. Everready is amazing but anghellic and absolute power are oldschool
He lives pretty close to me (we both live in a suburb of Kansas City) and I was sitting at a bar and he was right next to me. And he was rocking some leather flip flops
also check sickology 101 if you haven't fish. If anything it's worth checking out just for dysfunctional that song jams
@atari i love it. it's got a good balance of bangers and chill tracks like everready does, but there's a bit more emotion here and there. plus it's tremendously dark, and i'm a sucker for stuff like that, haha.
and agreed on sickology, that and welcome to strangeland are the only collabos i really dig
Yeah it's great so far. I don't get the whole collabos thing...he has so many guest vocalists on all his albums anyways so what's the difference? lol
I really hope he doesn't include lazy verses just to make the radio...
Oh wait, wiz khalifa? Fuuuuck.
Damn it, if the album is like any of those recent ep's this will blow
Sounds like he's trying to be more chill than heavy. Which has worked before with Strangeland and such, but this just doesn't work.
you are all just sucking on some jellysickles.
Ugh this sucks. Stupid mainstream hip hop BS
I heard Serj was gonna be on this album though. Looking forward to that.
this song is good. Y'all are just biased against the features
Digging: Sheer Mag - Sheer Mag II
The Song wasn't too bad but he's capable of much better.
lol isn't everyones tech nine phase over
No, but our linkin park phase is.
Your words, not mine.
boring as shiiiiiiiiiit.
Digging: Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside: An Album By Earl Sweatshirt
Fucking Wiz, I hate that Tech is getting bigger so he's collaborating with all these main-stream artists.
Tech is one of the most consistent rappers alive. But he needs to go back to his underground roots.
Another new track
Definitely better than the first one but it sounds a bit like an All 6's and 7's B-side
have you listened to everready (the religion) yet? It's way better than All 6's and 7's.
still on anghellic. I'll dl the ones you rec'd later
no worries just curious. What do you think of anghellic so far? It's definitely kinda different than his new stuff doesn't rely on as many guest vocals
New album is his best ever. This is the worst song. "Believe" is the most epic song.
