The tracklist for Nine Inch Nails' ninth album, Hesitation Marks, has been revealed.
The album, the industrial band's first in five years, is scheduled for release on September 3. The album will contain fourteen songs, including the lead single 'Came Back Haunted', which rose four spots to #14 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart this week.
1. The Eater Of Dreams
2. Copy Of A
3. Came Back Haunted
4. Find My Way
5. All Time Low
9. Various Methods Of Escape
11. I Would For You
12. In Two
13. While I'm Still Here
14. Black Noise
Along with the tracklist, Hesitation Marks credits have also been revealed.
The album will feature Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac, former Who bassist Pino Palladino, and King Crimson's Adrian Belew, who recently left the band.
He's really pushing for the angsty teenager demographic with this one
Those are some Reznor track names alright
Digging: Darkside - Psychic
I like most of these song titles, particularly 'While I'm Still Here.'
Hopefully this album will be good.
sweet! i'm looking forward to it.
I preordered this on vinyl ^_^My favorite artist, all the way.
I'll check it out, but I am not expecting much
Digging: Das EFX - Dead Serious
I hope these are all songs, too. Not that interludes don't matter but I don't want it to be consumed by them. I doubt that will happen, though
Copy of a what? COPY OF A WHAT, TRENT?!
people must know!
Lindsey Buckingham caught me off guard, but that's pretty freaking cool. So stoked for the record.
Digging: Two Gallants - Two Gallants
Digging: Radiohead - In Rainbows
we have 4 albums of interludes. they're called ghosts.
Then again, yeah
Either way I'm still hella pumped. I have a feeling 'While I'm Still Here' will be emotional as fuck
I must say though, Came Back Haunted didn't impress me as much as it should. I doubt if that's the same for the rest of the album
One of my favorite artists, so I pray this doesn't suck.
Digging: Neil Davidge - Halo 4 Original Soundtrack
Came Back Haunted was a piece of shit. I hope their are actually some good songs on this record.
Yeah, who am I kidding
The beat for Came Back Haunted felt like it went through that "riff machine" on FL Studio or something
The Eater Of Dreams... oh boy hehehe....
LINDSEY MOTHERFUCKIN BUCKINGHAM
@captainnorth seems unlikely seeing as that two of his opening acts are post-rock and I didn't think came back haunted sounded that angsty tbh
Times of the tracks are on iTunes (or at least they were at one point). It looks like the opening and closing tracks are intros and outros (and also have the coolest names of any of the songs...) and the rest are all between 3-6 mins.
various methods of escape

Digging: Marilyn Manson - Born Villain
You do? There's a first time for everything :P
Ha, we agree on some things (I just can't think of any right now)!
Came Back Haunted, isnt neccesarily as heavy as I would have liked, but it gets my head moving. Track listing looks good. All Time Low....
The fact that he's got Pino Palladino on here is frigging awesome.
I wonder how truly black or noisy "black noise" will be...
interestingssssss. hmm. these are intriguing.
Honestly it's most likely going to be a 3.5. maybe 4
but I'm still excited for it lel
Will definitely give it a listen. However, after hearing 'Came Back Haunted' my hopes are set low.

hasen't he always been since 89? at least he does a good job with it though unlike artists like Manson, MCR or those newer Motley Crue rip offs (black brides or w/e)
