do you think the singer has ever heard of alliterative verse? Riff is good, but I'm disappointed there wasn't a huge vocal
hook like in most of the songs off Ground Dweller.
more of the same. production is better though.
the bridge was the best part
Yeah I think they really missed out on some great opportunities...chorus was just too simple.
I actually really liked that
Digging: 2 8 1 4 - ???????
Wasn't terrible but nothing special either. Hope it's one of the weaker ones on the album.
I forgot what I just heard.
Digging: Runaway Brother - Mother
Kind of boring. Lyrics are pretty corny too.
I like it, better than ground dweller for sure
Production is way better, song is kind of boring though.
band is awful
Digging: The Wrens - The Meadowlands
All these kinds of bands bore the shit out of me, there isn't even a single original melody. Just sounds like a shitty pop song with bad breakdowns.
their vocalist wants to be jonny craig so bad
I enjoyed it.
Their vocalist is better than johnny craig (let the hate begin).
Hopefully it's the weakest track. pretty okay though
Ground Dweller was pretty solid and this is decent.
At least the production is a lot better.
Yes, I like the production.
Sounds like the song Watchmaker from their previous album but yeah sounds pretty decent hopefully there should be other good songs on the album
Not bad, looking forward to the album
was pretty decent
Decent, hope the other songs are a bit better though.
Yeah this isn't as good as Antartica or The Sower
you can actually hear the guitars.
Their best song is Lion Skin for sure.
their first album had some good stuff but this is better.
Digging: Fallujah - The Flesh Prevails
Production is better but songwriting quality is worse. Chorus was super repetitive and song used the word "we" way too much. Hoping for better things to come on the rest of the album.
It's alright but yeah hope the rest is better. This is a 3.
Chorus is terrible.
Digging: Turnover - Peripheral Vision
that was really weak, kinda disappointed
the vocal songwriting was really subpar for this song
As much as I loved Ground Dweller, this was kind of disappointing. I hope this is one of the weaker songs of the album.
This felt oddly like some kinda Christian thing to me. The production and sound, in odd ways. Like, his voice felt a little like Skillet or something at times.
Also, can someone explain to me what alliterative verse is?
listen to i the mighty instead
I The Mighty IS pretty damn awesome.
their new album is very solid, in my top 10-15 of this year
