Joel Zimmerman, aka Deadmau5, has released a preview of a new song titled "Suite 03" via his Soundcloud.
Zimmerman has made a point of expressing that this is a return to form, stating via Twitter "drop not included”.
that build up
anyone else notice that self-proclaimed returns to form are never returns to form

kinda nice, but really weird and different
he must be going through some mid-life crisis or something, maybe he got dumped

ok now let's all leave this page and go listen to autechre
i'll wait til the drop re-release
Yee, he makes derivative trance now. Just what I wanted!
Digging: Burial - Rival Dealer
Holy shit this pisses me off. It's like how he says "EDM is stupid" and
then gets Professional Griefers played all over the radio. This is
honestly so friggin' standard that it's really lacking in some of the
quality the man used to have
It's a 2 minute snippet of an early build. Don't quite get how this is pissing people off

sounds good to me. i've never seriously disliked anything this guy's done, so i'm fairly excited.
I keep thinking this is the same guy who founded Facebook

I haven't listened yet but I hope the songs in his next release match the quality of Random Album Title's "I Remember" or Kaskade & Deadmau5 "Move For Me." I miss his deep house vibe.
honestly i think the last 20 seconds or so are incredible. cant wait to hear what it leads into
i'm pretty sure this is about the same thing? and he said it wouldn't be edm and then he takes one of the foremost names in the general area, kill the noise, and collabs with him.
Who cares who he collaborates with? What he probably meant was that the track wouldn't succumb to all the inherent cliches of today's club-tastic electronic music. And so far it doesn't
Seriously, you complain and fret over the tiniest of things
