Design the Skyline have released the audio for their new single "Deathgaze", from their currently untitled upcoming second album. The single is the first release with the returning Ethan White and John Martian, who both left around the release of their divisive first album "Nevaeh", and also the first without guitarist Matt Ryan and keyboardist James Lemos.

Was never 100% on their purely deathcore stuff, always preferred their more experimental stuff so pretty uninterested by this track. Sounds like they're bringing in some nu metal influence with some of the stuff they're using and I hope they don't end up down the Emmure nu-metalcore road cos we really don't need another one of those. They had some good ideas on Nevaeh which they would've been much better off working on.
On and btw they're planning on re-writing Surrounded By Silence.
Digging: Warning - Watching from a Distance
standard deathcore stuff. its aiight
They're playing it safe and I don't like that.
wait so they brought back that bassist and the only guy who didn't have scene hair?
People actually care about these guys?
opening vocal line is lol
song is really meh
Digging: Skeletonwitch - Serpents Unleashed
fucking lol that people like this shit
Digging: Daylight Dies - A Frail Becoming
" On and btw they're planning on re-writing Surrounded By Silence."
they should let that song fucking die. one of the worst songs i've ever heard
can't listen to this because i don't have good internet right now but i'm sure it's not very good
One of the few bands with a purfect dickscography.
Digging: Gentle Giant - Three Friends
if they worked on their songwriting an got good singers they would be much better and honestly surrounded by silence could have been on to something.
that's so sweet like you dont even know
Digging: Cerberus Shoal - Homb
"wait so they brought back that bassist and the only guy who didn't have scene hair?"
Yup. The bassist is now on guitar and was working on something with the old guitarist but left that band which has plunged that group into hiatus (shame cos they were pretty decent post-hardcore) and John Martian was in another deathcore band but left them now.
Though that said I think John Anthony Perez and James Lemos actually performed on this track. Could be wrong about Lemos though.
I bet it sucks
Nobody should be giving this crap any attention
This guy had sperm sandwiches clogged in his esophagus.
Just go away
Digging: Vildhjarta - Thousands of Evils
That song definitely needed to be 6 minutes long.....
when did the balance tip from sputters who love to rip on this shitty band to those who can appreciate garbage?
Digging: Vessels - Elliptic
I don't know if this is worse or better.
Digging: Foxing - The Albatross
Well they've definitely improved as musicians but they haven't put their new skills to good use developing their experimental side.
at least they know how to play their instruments i guess
But they still can't write good music so their talent doesn't matter.
Awww I missed weird synthcore cleans and spastic banging of instruments
I started skipping parts after less than two minutes (except whatever they played at ~3:50), did I miss anything?
his cleans weird me out
hey, just grasping for straws here. it's pretty bad and boring but it's definitely not the worst thing i've heard
i didn't say it was shit, but it's nothing good either. very much a 1.5-2.
I was pretty surprised to see that the first few comments were actually somewhat positive and not "lolgay"
It's not my thing, but if other people like it that's okay.
Wait I would never say that.
this is actually pretty decent as far as shitty deathcore goes. 2/2.5
"Design the skyline all I gotta say is this song made me shit my pants ;) those vocals my fucking god"
i could say the same thing about the vocals and mean it in a completely different context
Digging: Magnolia Electric Co - Trials and Errors
I'm not into this shit at all, like, at all, but this is so much better than that abortion of an LP they put out. It's actually not a horrible song (except that it is by default casue lolDTS and lolDeathcore).
Album could be 2.5 material if they keep it up :0
i can't listen to this band and take them seriously after watching that yt interview
I liked Nevaeh. But considering the album I'm currently enjoying is something by the Turkish nu metal band maNga (who's biggest achievement is 2nd place at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest), I'll keep my mouth shut.
I feel like you'd like this song though, the second half anyway (the first half is pretty silly)
This band is so bad.
horrible and the vocals are atrocious
Digging: Down - NOLA
Fuckin br00tal man.
Digging: Mansions - Doom Loop
ok spec get real you listen to worse shit than this I'm sure, you guys are just spontaneously reacting because of which band it is
if there was any band to rip off, chelsea grin was the way to go
Digging: Waxahatchee - American Weekend
About as good as Dillinger Escaoe Plan
Digging: Barrow - Though I'm Alone
Cancer > Deathcore
Screamer needs to just die, song is still bad but he makes it much worse.
"Cancer > Deathcore"
Surprised at your knowledge of underground British death metal/Ukranian black metal.
the mix on this is horrible
Digging: Childish Gambino - Because The Internet
Early bmth/early suicide silence meets korn.
Nothing to see here.
Surrounded By Silence v.2 or GTFO
Digging: Mutoid Man - Helium Head
"About as good as Dillinger Escaoe Plan"
I really hope you're kidding....
don't care. in more exciting news, my sideburns are fucking mean and tasty
like if cotton candy were made out of pubic hair
surprised that some people actually expressed anything contempt for this band, still sucks even if it sucks slightly less
Digging: Minor Threat - Complete Discography
The music has improved... but the vocals have not.
Digging: Kanye West - Yeezus
It astonishes me how much people are enjoying this. I love shitty core and I think this sucks scrotum.
They are trying too hard to be a shitty clon of generic deathcore bands like emmure and suicide silence. I have to admit this is a little bit more enjoyable than their previous disjointed works, too bad this sucks dick
Well I guess I'll give them credit for writing two albums in the same time it has taken my band to record one EP.
I want to stab anyone who calls any part of this band "experimental." The only thing they're experimenting with is seeing how atrocious of music they can play. Oh and drama too because how many damn member changes has this band been though already?!
lol this band
Digging: Omb - SwineSong
people actually like this band on sputnik? wow fuck this userbase
Digging: Weekend Nachos - Still
if you like this commit suicide and take the band down with you.
Yeah, that was bad. I know that was posted on Youtube, but that production was horrible. Every snare hit and even the keyboard work was elevated above the rest of the band drowning out the song. The two vocalists are, also, pretty damn horrible. I thought that harsh vocal style died when A Job For A Cowboy beat that horse to death years ago.
deathcore forever will be garbage
Digging: bansheebeat - Spiral Power
I want this band to be good simply because everyone shits on them and I feel bad for them.
Guessing this chugs dong
Digging: downy - ?? (Mudai)
Really sucked before, but I knew they could get better. They did, but not by too much. I'm not sure what I was thinking expecting some form of creativity in any way. 2.5
Digging: Make Do and Mend - Part and Parcel
just rewatched surrounded by silence, sooooo bad. This is definitely a baby step in the right
Song is bad. Even by scene standards.
Song wasn't terrible. Cleans were really really fucking bad though.
