Why is this band so well liked on Sputnik? It makes me feel funny
| |
yea i saw that, should be interesting
@xing lol the generation that grew up on these guys is now 20 or so, i.e. prominent on sputnik. coupled with the fact that these dudes are actually pretty good (unlike simple plan or something) and it makes sense they're liked in the vein of blink
| |
Yeah they made great angsty teenager music back when I was a teenager, and they've actually stayed surprisingly solid.
| |
Band rules!
| |
Yeah they've stayed solid which is nice. It's gotten more mature as it's gone along which is nice.
This'll be pretty cool. Andcas may be happy.
| |
Apparently they recorded banjo for this...
| |
Isn't the singer of this band kind of a douche?
| |
you're a god damn douche
| |
WYTTSY acoustic was pretty good, so this should be as well. Little lazy albeit me thinks.
| |
^They put out two studio albums only a year apart from each other and it's been less than a year since the latest one was released.
| |
Yeah I know, but ya know.
| |
I kind of agree with you blast, but at the same time a lot of their fans will just go nuts for this, so I don't really see any harm in it.
| |
You are not wrong, sir.
| |
Wish it was another new album, but that would be too damn lucky.
Can't wait to hear this.
| |
God I love the sound of this!
| |
When you're through thinking > ocean avenue.
| |
I grew up on Ocean Avenue so I am so this is amazing news! I can't wait to hear this.
| |
Yes, Chippy. Yes.
| |
Haven't all their songs gotten the acoustic treatment by Youtubers anyway?
| |
"When you're through thinking > ocean avenue. "
Southern Air > every other Yellowcard album
| |
serious shit right here
| |
Southern air sucks.
| |
I assume that this is for their 10th anniversary?
| |
Take Off your Pants and Jacket > From under the cork tree > ocean avenue >Three Cheers > any green day album
Just putting it out there
| |
I too listened to this band when I was 13
| |
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket is my favorite Sum 41 album.
| |
I have a friend who will absolutely blow his load upon hearing this [2]
| |
Even though I wish this was a new album, this is still pretty cool.
| |
"Take Off your Pants and Jacket > From under the cork tree > ocean avenue >Three Cheers > any green
day album"
that is like the worst blink album tho. all of the others you mentioned are better than it.
| |
agreed
| |
Fuckin sweet
| |

| |
I'm going to love this
| |
Kris!

"Take Off your Pants and Jacket > From under the cork tree > ocean avenue >Three Cheers > any green day album"
Must be a troll
| |
"Take Off your Pants and Jacket"
I never wear jackets
| |
and what about your underwear
| |
It'll be the 10th anniversary for the album, so an acoustic release is a cool touch for it. I'll listen. It should be good.
| |
Loved the original album. This one will kickass.
| |
I imagine this will be pretty damn good
| |
Oh yeah! I would really like to listen to those acoustic versions, after 10 years of the original album.
| |
This is gonna be amazing.
| |
Take Off your Pants and Jacket > From under the cork tree > ocean avenue >Three Cheers > any green day album
I seriously don't give two shits about Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. I mean, it's a great album and I wouldn't complain if I was forced to listen to it for some reason, but out of my own free will I would probably never listen to it ever.
| |
Love it, just found out about it and I'm already planning my trip to see them in detroit.
