Legendary hardcore punk band Black Flag have released a new song for the first time in 23 years.
The song is called Down In The Dirt and can be downloaded for free at their site, or heard at the following link;
What the hell is this? Does Greg need money that bad that he is releasing random shit under the Black Flag name?
Shouldn't be used under the Black Flag name.
It's okay. Sounds like in my head with ron as vocalist
Digging: Five Iron Frenzy - Engine of a Million Plots
whats the lineup here?
what's the line up here?
Greg ginn -guitar
Ron Reyes (from the Jealous Again EP) -vox
Dave klein -bass
Gregory More -Drums
Mehhhhhhhhh. Riff ain't bad but... mehhh
More like Black Fag
That was painful to hear.
Digging: Mutoid Man - Helium Head
If the vocals and drums were about five times faster, this would be a good song.
The new album has 22 tracks so I still have a bit of hope left in my body
Fuck me that was terrible. Speed everything up and make the drums louder and it'd actually be passable. Vocals are pretty good though, glad Ron Reyes is behind the mic, though I don't think anybody was expecting that haha
I can only laugh
Digging: Waxahatchee - American Weekend
good riff yeah
this sounds like new shitty ceremony
LEAVE IT ALONE GREG!
No Rollins; no Black Flag.
Pretty terrible R.I.P Black Flag
"No Rollins; no Black Flag."
Riff is great but everything else takes this song down (the bass and drums could have been toke out and nobody would have noticed, not to mention the production), vocals are cool but the lyrics make'em stupid and repetitive: underwhelming but not terrible
I'll withhold judgement until the album comes out, but all I can say is that it better be a whole lot better.
Digging: Ceremony - Ruined
"No Rollins; No Black Flag"
Funny that you say that, because pre-rollins is better
Not that bad.
Wow, what the fuck.
"No Rollins; no Black Flag.""
But nervous breakdown was the best thing they ever did...
Everybody's acting like Black Flag never released I Can See You, Family Man, The Process of Weeding Out, etc.
what salesman said
Digging: Kanye West - Yeezus
I think the energy's actually pretty interesting here but it gets boring with Greg's guitar just buzzing for like 3 minutes on end. Plus there's no instrumental strength whatsoever so it comes off like lame noise rock.
Digging: Their / They're / There - Analog Weekend
it's not terrible but yeah, what dimsim said
Sounds like Fugazi but with a sub par riff.
Digging: Blood Orange - Cupid Deluxe
NO BILL WARD = NO BLACK FLAG
I don't care about this, I'm far more excited to see the FLAG tour (Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski, Dez
Cadena, Bill Stevenson, Steven Egerton)
(well...it's not terrible, but it's not something I really want to listen to)
Post-Henry Rollins = no care.
Digging: Sunken Seas - Cataclysm
NO ADAM DUCE = NO BLACK FLAG
this is pretty whatever im actulley very disappointed in both black flag reunions
Nervous Breakdown is good, but come on. Damaged fuckin' wrecks
