Closure in Moscow New Album2013-04-29 by iGuter | 34 Comments
|It's rough being an independent band; while with the support of your fans and fellow music listeners, the message isn't always heard. That's the issue with Melbourne, Australia's Closure in Moscow, who are currently unsigned after parting ways with Equal Vision Records, had announced a new album. The last big news update came from their interview with Hear This! Promotions that they indeed began working on a new album in March 2012. Turns out, an announcement was made on their website that they were halfway finished with production on their new album Pink Lemonade expected to be released later this year. The progressive band announced this on April 4th this year. Sorry fellas! It's hard to keep up with so many music updates all at once. Anyway, the announcement can be read below with a link to an advance pre-order:|
Calling all our global friends and fans… We are pleased to announce an advanced pre-order for our new album titled ‘Pink Lemonade’. There are 8 different pre-order packs, some with very special limited or one off items, from the digital album through to a 1970 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Check them all out here:
‘Pink Lemonade’ will be released later in 2013 (date to be confirmed) and your help now will mean we can finish the album sooner and get it in your hot little hands. We are currently half way through recording the album in Melbourne with Tom Larkin & Samuel Sproull, it’s turning out phenomenal so far, we will have some teasers and updates for you shortly… Dinosaur boss battles?? Saucy collaborations?? Worshiping the Technochrist with fervent gospel fury?? All this and more for your aural pleasure!
Closure In Moscow is currently a fully independent band we survive fully on the support of our loyal fans, any help you can give now will be greatly appreciated and help create our art! Please spread the word far and wide and we can’t wait to share the new album with you.
Yours in peace, love and rock’n'roll

Been waiting for these guys to put out another album for a long time now. Just hoping it's great since First Temple and Penance & Patience are among my favorite albums.

Pre order packs are so damn overpriced

"First Temple is so good"
Old news or not, I still got excited when I read this.
Yeah I have been snapchatting these guys to hilarious results. And First Temple was gold, but I'm sensing they've since been funked, it seems to reflect in everything we've heard from Pink Lemonade so far. I'm excited still. But FT really had some taste and nuance, I hope they don't abandon it completely for funk.
really dug the first album, can't wait to see what they do with this.
Requesting an Andy Antar review
