Jordison/Simon/Norris new band
2013-04-28 by Philip Whitehead | 21 Comments
With Slipknot yet to commence work on new material, drummer Joey Jordison (aka #1) has announced that he is working on a new band. Not much details have been released so far although images posted online show that other members include former Strapping Young lad and Zimmers Hole guitarist Jed Simon and Darkest Hour's Kris Norris are also involved in the project. More details are expected in the near future.

This has potential to be awesome. Joey isn't the god of a drummer I thought he was when I was just getting into heavy music, but I still think he's talented, and I've loved everything Norris has done. So I'll be looking forward to hearing whatever they put out.

"ITS THE RISE OF THE MALLCORE"

What in hell would make you say that? Should be a cool side project, with a couple of sweet tunes.

Honestly I think all of them are pretty damn talented, I mean Joeys overrated to the end of the universe but hes still good.

I'm not eager with excitement but they could make a few solid tunes.

Kris Norris and Joey Jordison??? Holy fuck! I know that super groups are generally awful as a rule but this could be golden

Joey Jordison was bad enough in Slipknot, he was fucking horrible in Murderdolls, not looking forward to this.
