George Jones dies at 81

2013-04-26 by Kit Brown | 32 Comments
George Jones, the country music legend whose graceful, evocative voice gave depth to some of the greatest songs in country music -- including "She Thinks I Still Care," "The Grand Tour" and "He Stopped Loving Her Today" -- has died, according to his public relations firm.

Jones, 81, died Friday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, the public relations firm said. He had been hospitalized since April 18 with fever and irregular blood pressure.

I don't claim to particularly enjoy this man's music, but he was certainly a legend and probably a good person. This is truly a sad day in music. Rest in peace, No Show Jones.

Considering how he lived 81 years was a good run. I'll be taking the mower out for a spin tomorrow in his honor.

And do what, look for it on the page somewhere? What stupid line to put in an article. It's not even a link...it might as well read - "For more info, leave this site".
