German post-metal band The Ocean have released previews of each track on their new album Pelagial through metal site Invisible Oranges. The album will be released in Germany
tomorrow and worldwide on April 30.
Three tracks have been properly released so far, as well as live footage from their recent
Roadburn Festival performance and a complete instrumental version of Pelagial.
Hoping it won't suck.

That's the attitude!
AOTY...this or Night Verses...
who cares instrumental version is out already
"who cares instrumental version is out already"
Guessing you must not be a fan of the vocals. Can't blame you though. The vocals were great on their first several albums but they have been subpar on Heliocentric and Antrhopocentric.
umm it leaked, you have it on realmofmetal. I prefer the instrumental version though, the vocals are kinda weak
I think the vocals are superb.
I like the vocals as well... what's up with you people ?
Sounds pretty cool, but the vocals aren't that strong. They're not god-awful, but they could do with some improvement. Especially the cleans.
Digging: David Maxim Micic - Bilo 3.0
why won't it just leak
"umm it leaked, you have it on realmofmetal. I prefer the instrumental version though, the vocals are kinda weak"
welp, disregard that last comment
192 kbps is not a leak.
The water effects are missing between the tracks...strange

they're still forcing this heavy to clean at the drop of a dime thing but this is so much better than both of those last 2 shitfests that i'm just happy the ocean is making good music again.
yeahhhhh this leak is pretty unsatisfactory what with those huge gaps. but it's better than nothing i suppose.
pretty good album though
Abyssopelagic II is awesome !
Damn, when are they just gonna stream this fucker I'm sick of them cockteasing.
Digging: Black Sheep Wall - It Begins Again
the vocals do add a certain depth to the record (ha ha) but yeah albums sick
Hmm, sounds like 3.5 material for me. Sure, there are shades of 4 moments, but the band doesn't seem
interested in fully embracing the more mystical moments.
Now this is the version I want to hear. The vocals just add so much more.
There are some superb vocal moments on this but over all the vocal 'layer' does feel a bit tacked on above what was originally supposed to be an instrumental album.
I feel like the vocal version will be a good listen every time I want to see the album in a new light or refresh it a little, but from what I can tell the whole 'descent into the ocean' concept works better in the instrumental.
Took me forever to download the full album but I did. Vocal album sounds way better than the shitty quality of the leak.
This has been leaked for well over a month now.
Digging: Demilich - Nespithe
I don't think so. I've been looking for the full album version for like a month and all I could find was just the instrumental version.
