Pop-punks Emily's Army, featuring Billie Joe Armstrong's son on drums, sign to rise records to release their upcoming album Lost At Seventeen. Along with this announcement, the band released a video for their new song Avenue, which you can hear at the following link:
The album is produced by Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) and is due for release on June 11th.
sucks but not as hard as uno, dos and tre
The instrument are pretty average for pop punk but the vocals are so fucking terrible
singer totally sounds like sped up billie joe armstrong lol
Digging: Waxahatchee - American Weekend
Ugh this can't be good...
I listened to this band once and hated it. I guess this isn't as bad as I remember them being (though
still didn't enjoy it)
also, 666 comments aw yeah.
666th comment on a pop punk news thread. M/
Aw they rempved Green Day Jr. from the news title (((
Digging: Bear vs. Shark - Terrorhawk
sounds like Green Day
Digging: Self Defense Family - You Are Beneath Me
Those vocals are obnoxious. Considering a huge part of pop-punk is the vocalist I don't know how they got this far. Oh wait...
they will forever be known as "that one pop-punk band with the son of the guy from green day"
Should be interesting.

"they will forever be known as "that one pop-punk band with the son of the guy from green day""
why do you think Rise signed them?

@calc, while this is not really great, this is atleast way better than some of the crap they already had on their roster.
I'd rather hear 20 bad pop-punk bands than 20 auto tuned glammetal bands
I'm surprised someone as fucking big as Billie Joe Armstrong is producing an album for Rise. I guess that's the benefit of being a celebrity child though.
yeah he's lucky but clearly too influenced by his dad
