Daft Punk releases teaser

A teaser for Daft Punk's new single 'Get Lucky' featuring Pharrell Williams (The Neptunes, NERD) and Niles Rodgers (Chic) was aired on SNL and a slightly extended version played before Daft Punk's set at Coachella. The album 'Random Access Memories' is set to release worldwide in the third week of May.

can't wait. I just hope Pharrell's part is diminished/reduced in the final mix.

In fear of this turning out like a film that releases too many trailers too far out from its release, I am not clicking on any more leaks, teasers, clips etc until the album drops.

They're kind of taking the piss with the level of press pandering. Next there'll be an extended teaser, then a theatrical trailer, then a limited stream available for 2 minutes, then a picture of the entire sheet music tattoo'd on someone's back, before the release of a super deluxe premium limited quadruple LP boxset collector's edition which allows you to get the album 10 minutes early.

^They're hyping it. It's genius marketing, really. Look around the internet, people are dying to get their hands on this album all because of the smart way it's being marketed. You can't blame them. Just don't pay attention if you aren't interested.

Well, it seems that they are only using one track for all their teasers, so I don't really mind.

So that's one band you can mention, very nice. Besides, I don't really see how 4'ing a metalcore album relates to not liking this song, which isn't metalcore in case you need reminding.

I'm with Bloc, this is going to suck. It's not going to have the monotonous, Br00t4L 4/4 breakdown song structure that Of Mice & Men bring to the table. To make it short and sweet, not enough breakdowns.
