Surprisingly the MetalInjection commentary about the drumming being impressive was true. The percussive elements really keep the song from falling flat.

Less melodic, an interesting direction. I wasn't in to Ritual, but I'm gonna check this out. I mean, that album cover is awesome.

song was mostly boring to me. the entire blast section after the solo melts my face and sounds fucking perfect. but then it gets boring afterward again.

I was hoping they would take a more black/symphonic approach to this album. Solid but nothing mind blowing. I feel like they have been stagnant for awhile now.

Agreed about it sounding like the heavier moments on Ritual. I don't care for this track though. I've given it 5+ listens. Fucking loved Ritual, hope this record measures up.
