I really like it, but I feel like I want to hear it in the context of the album before I judge it.

I have really high hopes for the new album, as they're riding a pretty ridiculous 4-album streak right now.

the album will probably be standard fare for this band i.e. start out at a 3.5/4 and end up a stone cold 5

Incidentally, on a radio interview this evening in the UK they labelled the new record teeming with more immediate tracks rather than growers, so we'll see how it pans out. The tracks premiered were fantastic, though, not merely Demons

Pretty decent. Agreed hard that in the context of the album the song will probably rule.
