Vampire Weekend has released a new song off their upcoming album, 'Modern Vampires Of The City', out on May 6th.
It is the fourth track of the album and it is titled "Diane Young".

lol I wrote this exact same article yesterday and it got rejected. They have another one out too.
god was that bad. first song i've ever heard from them. do not want to check them out now...
Won't even bother listening. I think my eardrums prefer something not bad.
then again, the second one was pretty nice
Yeah, don't judge them solely on Diane Young. It sounds completely different than everything else they've done.
"Step" was at least listenable, this one I couldn't even make it one minute without closing the tab.
That was weird, Contra was good but I'm not so sure about this song
Digging: The Copyrights - Make Sound
thought "step" was too generic VW but it's weirdly been tugging at me lately. like it a lot now
"diane young" is okay
Wasn't too big on this one, but "Step" is fucking great.
Digging: Kanye West - Yeezus
meh. will be their worst record yet.
andcas calling this terrible is rich though
yea what the fuck man, turned it off right after the formant knob blow out.
Not bad. Video's cool.
Digging: Elliott Smith - From a Basement on the Hill
was ok till 50 seconds in.
I hate these kids.
i don't like how his voice sounds on this track
Digging: Jizue - Journal
"andcas calling this terrible is rich though"
they've always been extremely annoying
I'm definitely not alone in thinking it lol
All I ever heard about this band was how amazing they are, I never understood...I still don't
amazing song band is amazing
Digging: Zomby - With Love
I liked it...
I actually liked both tracks. The band isn't something I take too seriously but I really enjoy having this just for listening to fun music. Their first album was great, Contra was good, and this next one will probably be decent enough for me to give it a few listens. Not too shabby for what it is.
