They seem to be one of those bands where nobody thinks they're particularly bad but they've rarely done much that's universally good either. They've just sort of been there.

i honestly like this new business model of music distribution etc. makes a lot more sense that labels. put out some free mixtapes, etc, if people like you, they'l pay for you to record. I like the concept of giving away cds/ vinyl, merch etc for donating

But they haven't really done it that way, have they? (I haven't clicked the link.) Seems to me theyve just been gone for seven years and having spent all their money in the meantime, come to their former fans asking for investments. It might all be well and good, but it stinks to me

I don't get this ideology, man. They aren't forcing fans to pay up-- people just contribute if they want to. I'm with Sobhi on this one; websites like these are infinitely helpful for bands, because god knows how expensive it is to be a recording musician.

Saw them live last year and they were amazing. Their new songs are solid. Shame on some of you guys saying 'Movies' and their cover of 'Smooth Criminal' are their best songs, because they don't compare to the majority of their discography. I don't think they're just "another" alternative rock band, because they're all amazing musicians and they're really creative in respect to that style.
