Founding Yes guitarist Peter Banks died last Thursday as a result of heart failure in his London home. He was reportedly found dead after failing to show up for a recording session. No further details have been made available.

Shame on most of you who don't even seem to realize Banks only played on Yes' first two albums. Admittedly the classic stuff came with his departure and Steve Howe's arrival, but that makes the man no less important in shaping the band's early sound. R.I.P.
