Video's intro looks like the new Universal Soldier with a distinct lack of Scott Adkins.

Looking forward to this even though the addition of the other singer doesn't really do much for me;
Elize's work with Kamelot was great.

For a band that isn't that big they really have unnecessarily high production value...

Just heard Nexus or the first time, sounds like Mercenary worship when they were good. Mechanical has a cool intro. This reminds me when I used to enjoy Blinded Colony and the first 2 Sonic Syndicate records.

Yeah, but in her case it's a plus not a prerequisite.

yea, according to a portuguese reporter she mocked Annete Olzon's lack of skills big time during an
interview with Kamelot or Nightwish (can't remember properly). wish I'd see that. :D

Good because Annette sucks. She has no presence, voice or any relevance to Nightwish's core sound.

She sucked live agree, but loved her on the studio albums. Bitch has passion at least.

I will say that she was great on Poet and the Pendulum. In Tarja I Trust...I pray to Odin that she'll tour the states at least once.

Better than nothing, I guess. :D

well now they have Floor, and I believe there couldn't be a better replacement for Tarja, both studio and live.

Surprise, this blows. I really just can't understand the appeal of bands like this, Nightwish, etc. Sure, she's hot, but this quite literally couldn't be cheesier, unless they changed their name to Land O' Lakes.

The worst part is when these bands have a hot chick singer with no talent whatsoever. A few bands come to mind that are guilty of that but I cannot recall their names

Nobody touches vintage Tristania though. Vibeke Stene is probably the most beautiful woman I have ever seen or heard. Those piercing blue eyes and that angelic voice. The combo of Vibeke and Morten was one of the best in metal period.

Oh man, couldn't agree more about Vibeke.

But Balls, Ashes and Illuminating are also great records, and they showcase more of her voice than Widows and Beyond the Veil.
