how is this news
fuck yeah, one gigantic step forward for music.
The band sucks. What a mistake this idea was.
not even the vocalist can save this band from being utter dogshit
Digging: Burning Down Alaska - Values & Virtues
The vocalist is terrible anyway. He cups the mic way too much (COUGH the opening scream to the opening song COUGH). hes absolute terrible.
what was the point?
In rereleasing it? nothing . the production was one of the only tolerable things about teh original.
Its just an attempt to swipe the cash from the pockets of these scene kids with their fringes past their eyes and studded belts. Shameless cash theft is all it is.
they have one or two decent songs. but yeah overall the suck
I wear a studded belt but i'm metal as so its all good m/
I liked bits of A New Era because at least that was more "pure" than the shit breakdown infested buttfuckery they use on their other albums. Reprogrammed To Hate and The Darkest Day Of Man were good aside from that idiot from Deftones' shit vocals on the former.
And yeah im refering to these assholes who think Bring Me The BallSacks are the best band in existance and that Mitch Lucker wasnt an alcoholic idiot but was in fact the best vocalist ever
good lord, not one positive thing to say ^
There's nothing positive to say about a band like this because all they did is rip off Suffocation but without the creativity and instead of slams that at least take talent to make perfect, they used shit open strings .
Goddamn, everybody is slamming these guys. Personally, I loved the debut album and I love Whitechapel. Sue me fuckers. By the way, ya. The guy who re-mastered it. His last name is actually douches.
"his last name is actually douches" to reflect the actual feelings i have towards the band
You're making them sounds like the worst band in existence. They are not that fucking bad dude. Take a chill pill.
16% Grind. And this band is shit?
sounds slighty different, i stopped loving this band a while ago, but hey phil is one hell of a vocalist. Still think This Is Exile is incredible though.....
They are that fucking bad indeed. I hate deathcore, im not a big fan of pure death despite having heard a lot of it, prefer black metal.
i dont hate deathcore, i used to be in love with it. I still listen here and there but it hasnt really been my music of choice in a while...im all about that hardcore in all forms
"Re-mastered by Douches".
Digging: Elision of Animus - Contrition
Remaster sounds quite a bit more crisp. Not nearly as muddy and the drums are a lot more refined than they were which is good because the drumming is the only remotely decent part about this band.
The production on their original was actually pretty good.
Still bad song.
If they had re-recorded it instead of remastering it I may have checked it out.
Awesommmmeeee =) best song off the album made even better!!!!
This sounds exactly the same as the first version
average, just like most deathcore
No this band are awesomeeee =)
"The production on their original was actually pretty good."
No it was not. It was mud city.
I WILL SPIT RIGHT IN YOUR FUCKING FACE
HOW DOES IT TASTE
the original version sounds way better. there's like no dynamic or punch in this one. would have been better if they rerecorded it
Got the quotes around the wrong word there buddy
I WILL SPIT RIGHT IN YOUR FUCKING FACE
HOW DOES IT TASTE
IVE SEWN THE LIPS TO SMILE BELOW YOUR WASTE
AND YOU WILL NEVER FUCK AGAIN
=) theyre one of my fave bands =')
Why did they remix it and not re record out.
It sounds cleaner. I like it
Its a shit album by a shit band and a shit song.
This next song is called... bluuuuuurrrrgggg
Just listened to both for comparison's sake. This version sounds a lot more muddled, a lot thinner, loses a lot of the low end, and just all around isn't as good. I feel like if anything, the original version sounds more like a remastered version of this remix.
Remasters are usually wank.
i agree. no need for it whatsoever, the original wasn't badly produced for what it was. Bad album but not badly produced for the music, everything was audible.
Band is realizing they are irrelevant and can't stand it.
Band is just flat out awful
sounds pretty much the same.
A new Era is great but rest are about average
single file to dehumanization is great ill fight you all
both songs sound the fucking same sans the drums, this is such a bad idea.
Digging: Freddie Gibbs - Shadow of a Doubt
yeh i thought they wouldve at least re recoprded not just remaster
No it's absolutely awful.
Never got into em. Song still didn't strike me to check out more.
This band can choke on a bag of dolphin dicks.
Digging: Marie Davidson - Perte d'identité
Compared to listening to the original it's like upgrading to a 720p video from a 360p video, sure it's better but it's probably not worth it.
YOU WILL NEVER FUCK AGAIN
Eugh this band are so bad.
"This band can choke on a bag of dolphin dicks" well, Phil sounds like he is.
Phil is an amazing vocalist, only reason I ever listen to this band
Digging: In Flames - Clayman
Phil is annoying to be honest.
A New Era is the only album I can really stand anymore and I haven't listened to that in over a year. That said, Possession is the best song they'll ever write.
A New Era has their two best songs (Reprogrammed To Hate and Darkest Days Of Man) but it still sucks.
I toured with these guys - they're fucking airtight live. Also, Phil is a very fucking capable vocalist and is a killer frontman. Not to mention, their new drummer Ben Harclarode is a fucking machine.
"the band are shit"
the band is shit you mean
"The band are shit."
What the fuck when did Skele get back from the ban?
Skele never left lol
Fuck you guys.
Whitechapel are great.
Said no one ever
somatic defilement was only decent album by them. remastered version would be cool. meh.
the muddy production was the only good thing about that album.
remastered version would be cool. just a more polished off version. doesnt really change how i feel about the album, though. still meh.
Yeah itll be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
