Bosnian Rainbows, the new group formed by former The Mars Volta band members Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Deantoni Parks, have released a song off of their currently-unnamed upcoming debut album, entitled Torn Maps. The album will be released sometime later this year.

So this was pretty much blatantly released to counter Cedric's words, no? I gotta say, I hate to see the two clashing like this, but I'm surprised that I'm so strongly taking Cedric's side in the split.

The track is lame as shit, and whoever is singing sounds like Geddy Lee put through an '80s cheese pop filter.

I never really got into the Mars Volta. But, this honestly just really sucks. The vox are horrible. They'd be okay if they didn't sound really forced. But man...

I have to say, I saw them live and it was goosebump inducing. They're funky and a dark queen leads them. Can't wait for full release.
