karnivool is coming, one at a time!
This is a nice (albeit simple) song, I can't wait for this LP to hit. I've liked everything they've released in the last few months.

Karnivool are really Tool's little brother now, they're following the "take ages with a new record and barely give out any information" route.
BoT have really grown on me over the last few months and this new album is going to be super sweet.

Still...karnivool doesn't take nearly as long as Tool usually did/does. Most bands now release something every 3 years max, so I can definitely say I've become pampered and I wouldn't be surprised to see others have become like that as well.
4 years isn't THAT unacceptable, especially if the music is worth it. I hope it'll be worth it.

When did sound awake come out? It wasn't THAT long ago?
|
| |
Sound Awake was 2009, and yeah new Karnivool will be AOTY for me probably.
|
| |
I wonder if the new karnivool album will be just as drastic a change as Sound Awake was? I can just imagine I put the album on and it doesn't sound anything like what I expect it to sound like. I think most are assuming it's just going to be a "Sound Awake 2" when they've done a 180 before.

Even BoT changing their sound on this new record might hint at something being different for new Karnivool (I assume Kenny does a lot of the songwriting).

Birds of Tokyo news headline.
All comments about Karnivool.

Boring song. Clearly trying to recreate the success of "Plans".
I prefer their more up-tempo songs.
|
| |
And yeah, where's my Karnivool fix!?
|
| |
Kenny does like no songwriting for either band, is what I thought. Just sings. Certainly karnivool is mostly the guitarist, but
recently the other guys have been doing more
Also, that was the most boring Kenny related song I've ever heard

Loving the poppy sound it has. But yeah. Looking forward to Karnivool more than BoT.
Hyped for both though.
