This didn't sound bad until I heard "some EDM influence", which I don't care for in the least bit. Why
can't Tilian just release a solo album highlighting his singing abilities, kind of like Jonny Craig's was? I
don't want cheesy electronics to ruin it. Ugh, I hope this isn't nearly as terrible as I think it is.

Edit: Oh, okay, not all of the tracks will be EDM influenced, thank god.

I hope their next album turns out better than "In Search of Solid Ground", I only liked about 3 tracks. The self-titled is still great though, I wouldn't skip a track while listening to it.

Yeah, I'm really starting to wonder when they'll split, but apparently if they've been in the studio recently they must have found a permanent replacement for Cove. Not sure who it is yet, but it isn't Charles Finn (ex- Secret & Whisper) or Tilian apparently. I've heard rumors about Anthony Green rejoining Saosin as well as remaining in Circa Survive, has anyone else heard that?

Why in the world would Anthony Green do that?
He hated being in the band in the first place and Circa is extremely successful

Just a rumor I heard somewhere, I forget where though.
I definitely couldn't picture Anthony rejoining Saosin either.
Between Circa Survive, his solo work, and his family he really couldn't balance another band. I still don't see how he has the time for it all, but he's a great grape.
I still have no idea who the permanent singer is, if there is one at all.

Tides of Man is actually going to become a post-rock band, I'm not sure how that'll work out for them. Yeah, he filled in for both Emarosa and Saosin before, yet he joined Dance Gavin Dance. Everything's just a big mess, no Jon Mess pun intended. If Anthony Green for some odd reason did decide to rejoin Saosin, that means more "Translating the Name" type stuff. Or at least I would hope.

I've heard rumors that Jonny Craig might rejoin Emarosa, as he's helped to record some unreleased tracks with them recently.

I don't dislike Rise Records, there's a few quality bands. Such as Hot Water Music, The Early November, Sharks, and Daytrader (who are breaking up). They've gotten a lot better, I wouldn't judge them based on just the shitty bands. Most record labels keep those around because they sell to this new generation of kids, and money is all they really care about.
