NOFX release vinyl box set
2013-01-04 by William Lim | 27 Replies | 1915 Views

Legendary Californian punk group NOFX, a band whose studio career spans the first wave of hardcore to just a few months ago, are set to release a 30th anniversary vinyl box set of fifteen colored records (blue vinyl is only purchasable at the Fat Wreck Chords online store). The box includes all of their studio albums from 1988's Liberal Animation to Self Entitled from just last year, as well as the epic EP The Decline (containing a single song spanning over eighteen minutes) and their complete run of monthly seven-inches from 2005 (the 7" of the Month Club series) on a double LP. Finally, the set comes with a life-size stage banner. The first 250 sets of the total 1000 to be printed will be signed by the band. The official release date of the box is February 19, 2013, and it is priced at $199 each. Fat Mike, frontman of NOFX and owner of Fat Wreck Chords, had this to say about the box:

“I was so proud of this Box Set that I brought one home and put it on the mantle above my fireplace. It broke the mantle and melted. Now I need a new one. Mantle that is. The Box Set is fine!”

NOFX released their twelfth studio album, Self Entitled, just last year and are currently set to play a short stint of shows in the Hawaiian Islands and Japan in February.

Thanks to the cat with glasses up there cause he's so nice

Anyway if you have money to spare try to snag one of the first 250 on the Fat webstore (i.e. blue vinyl) since the value will probably shoot up exponentially once the box sells out and that means you can sell it at ridiculous prices on eBay
