Most conceited generic metalcore song I've ever had the displeasure to listen to.

I know a really really fat chick who thinks she's metal by listening to these guys and Crown The Empire.

When she's near, i have a hard time eating food because she's disgusting.

Band is the definition of stinky ass-crack.

Synth and way overproduced cleans are pretty catchy though.

I agree with the lyrics and screaming and chugging, but disagree with the shitty synth and cleans. They atleast would be semi tolerable if they dropped the poppy shit. boring, generic, but tolerable. Now YOU'RE NOT GONNA BREAK MY STR IE-IE-IE-IDE!!! Sounded like M-Shadows for a second.

I honestly don't know the difference between these two bands. One of them have the Fallout-type album cover and that's all I remember of the two.

Most "verb-the-noun" x-core bands are shit anyway.

Crown the Empire uses theatrical aspects to boost the overall impact of their musicianship.

Capture the Crown jumped on the delightful trend of using Asking Alexandria-esque trance beats.

Also, the amount of pre-orders for the album is topping the metal section in Itunes... why.

I wouldn't hate them so much if it wasn't for them being so outspoken about being from Australia, especially when they're really just a combination of all that's wrong with Australia's metal scene at the moment.

Australia has produced some great metal, like Parkway Drive and Twelve Foot Ninja.

It pisses me off that bands like this top the iTunes preorder charts when I doubt a band that is infinitely fucking better, like The Color Morale, probably won't chart for Know Hope preorders.

merp, believe it or not, there are some sections on Capture the Crown's album that merit it overall a 1.5 instead of a 1. Woe, Is Me's album was just a chugsnoozefest with nothing interesting in the slightest, even Hance's vox were uninteresting.

I disagree, I found Hance's vocals to be pretty interesting and catchy. I just don't see how anything on this album can be worthy of a 1.5

It's scattered moments, like even in this "RVG" song for example, the clean vocal "woah-ohs" juxtaposed with the melodic electronic input which then lead into a distorted riff behind the electronics a little more than halfway into the song. Which then lead into a much softer clean vocal segment.

There are moments like that throughout the album that make it so it's not one material for me, but a solid 1.5
